The GYXTC8Y cable consists of a single loose tube as the cable core, containing optical fibers of 250um. It is placed inside a loose tube made of high modulus plastic and filled with a waterproof compound. The loose tube is positioned at the center of the cable. Water-blocking gel or water-blocking yarn is filled or wrapped around the loose tube, followed by a polyethylene sheath reinforced with steel strands or steel wires arranged in a figure-eight pattern.
